My name is Talisha (she/they) and this is my ePortfolio. Libraries have always been a part of my life since I was a child due to my love of books. For the past twelve years I’ve worked as an library public services assistant in an academic library, and in 2019 I made the decision to apply to San Jose State University and earn my Master’s degree to become a librarian. When I started I hadn’t been in school in about 13 years so I was a little nervous! But I know I made the right choice and enjoyed learning so much about librarianship. When I started I wanted to be a well-rounded librarian/information professional but my primary career goal is to be a research librarian.
